Nothing wakes up your core like trying to balance. Join me for this month's progressive Pilates Mat series where we will be focused on building core engagement and improving balance with exercises standing, seated, and everything in between.
-The anatomy of "the core" (a.k.a., "the power-house") muscles
-How the breath affects the core
-How to use oppositional energy to aid balance
-Variations of classical Pilates Mat exercises to give you practical options to advance your practice
Live Classes take place over Zoom at the following days & times:
-Tuesdays, May 4, 11, 18, 25 @ 6-6:55pm EST
-Saturdays, May 8, 15, 22, 29 @ 12-12:55pm EST
Props recommended: 36" foam roller, franklin balls/tennis balls/any soft 3-4" balls, and something to slide on (hard floors: blanket or towel; carpet: paper plates/gliders). I will start the meeting 10 minutes before class, so we have time to chat, figure out props, etc.
In case you need to miss a class, or for anyone who wants to revisit the class, 7-day replays will be available to all students.
The livestream class format will help you build a consistent practice within a supportive community. Your enrollment in this month-long class package is a one-time payment (not a monthly subscription).
