As a collective, we are still being called to a nuanced practice, all while welcoming the swirl and change in seasons. This time for many of of calls for focus and grounding, while we re-establish our rituals and routine.
This 4-week series will focus on a grounding, and gently empowering journey to Headstand (Sirsasana A). This progressive series is designed to guide students to headstand as a complete practice through the exploration of ritual in breath and movement, core strength and awareness, and shoulder stability and strengthening, all through the philosophies and pillars of Hatha Yoga.
Classes will move through a mix of flowing postures, and time spent workshopping the various expressions and pathways to Headstand.
Props are not required, but a blanket is recommended. We may spend some time at the wall, but wall space is most certainly not required. Feel free to be creative with any other supportive props you may need.
This is an open level series, but highly recommended for those with an existing current practice (strong beginners, intermediate into advanced).

All recordings will be made available for the week for any missed practices, or desire to revisit a class.
