Tonie Warner

I started my yogic journey over 15 years ago and was drawn in by the physical and mental balance and the transformation I gained. My passion and love for yoga led me to teaching and sharing at studios throughout New York City and Brooklyn. I understood that yoga should be available to all but knew that this tenet was far from being upheld in the wellness community. As an extension of my practice and with the firm belief that everyone should have access to yoga, I created Yuja Soul, a dedicated space that offers yoga to Black Womxn.

My classes are centered on philosophy, alignment and inner balance. For me, yoga is continued work, allowing my body and mind to surrender to the ebb and flow of the breath, exploring inner and outer balance while being soft, expansive and powerful at the same time. I joined The Connective to build on my commitment to sharing the practice with all and meeting you where you are on the mat.
Peace.

Loving this series with Tonie as always. I am always both challenged and uplifted by these classes.

Tonie is an incredible teacher. Her classes are grounding and challenging—the perfect start to my day. I take her lessons far beyond the mat.

I'm not one to leave feedback often, but when I do it's for Tonie. Going to her class has been a driving force in my personal growth, on and off the mat. I feel well supported and safe to embark on this journey with her because she helps me reclaim my power through effort, ease, and grace (of course, with many levels of balance in between ^__^).
