Just show up and flow.
Have you fallen off the yoga wagon? You are not alone. It happens—especially now.
I’ve been inspired by watching us all adapt, learn new skills, maybe fall apart at times, and then get back up and keep on going. You’re all a bunch of bad asses. You might be thinking, Wait… why do I feel depleted instead of empowered? Because survival mode, crucial as it is, is not sustainable without self-care.
As you most likely already know, self-care isn't so simple—maybe because it takes more than just oneself to pull it off. This past year has highlighted for us that we are social animals. Mutual support can help create consistent self-care routines.
Show up for two classes per week LIVE on Zoom. It doesn’t matter if you’re in your pajamas or if your home is in disarray. Give your pet/child a distraction. Connect. Breathe. Move. And then get on with your day.
Flow isn’t just referring to the vinyasa-style sequencing, but getting all the good stuff flowing: blood, lymph, endorphins, thoughts. Let’s get unstuck.
You’ll need either a large towel or throw blanket for sure... two blocks would be useful, but not required. If you plan on attending live, I take requests—I want to meet you where you are in each class and we’ll go from there.
Mondays and Wednesdays 12:15pm ET (9:15am PT) throughout the month of January. Each class will have playbacks for a week, so you can make it a daily practice if you choose. And also, sh*t happens, I get it, and you might not be able to make it to the live-streamed class. I’m here for you even if you can’t make it to the live class—message me with your revelations, questions, or if you just need to kvetch. ❤
