Intuitive, kind, versatile, intelligent, community-oriented, and intriguing. These are some words that Krishna’s students have used to describe her.
When Krishna first started practicing yoga, she noticed how it calmed her mind and improved her sense of well-being. Through her personal and professional experience in the health and yoga world, she has found that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to being well. Finding body movement, stress management, and spiritual practices that feel safe and authentic to the individual is important.
Krishna’s own experience with injury management and body pain has influenced how she teaches yoga; integrating various somatic, fascia-release, and mind-body techniques. She is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, prenatal yoga teacher, and a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher. Along with that, Krishna is a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified diabetes educator. She believes that being healthy and balanced is something that should be accessible and available for everyone.
Born and brought up in Africa, her background and Indian roots have influenced her love for travel, world music, poetry, art, and food!
